In No.72, Jack has already axed his way into the Living Space, and as he meets the bathroom door, he taunts
Jack:
Little pigs, little pigs, let me
come in!
Not by the hair on your chiny,
chin, chin. Then I'll huff, and
I'll puff
JACK (CONT'D)
and I'll blow your house in.
This unequivocally connects him to the Big Bad Wolf, the villain in many a fairy tale.
It’s not until No.79, after Jack has killed Halloran in No.78, when he enters the frame with that grin that we see him as the big bad wolf.
The fairy tale we hear as children is enacted in a Domestic Abuse situation.
