Toys are a practical necessity for a home with a child, and it’s the type of toys we see that are going to give additional information.
In No.7 we see a goofy doll mimicking Wendy, an Danny’s shelves are filled with puzzles and games (things in boxes).
In No.26, we see Jack throw a tennis ball down a hallway in The Lobby, over Danny’s trike, a Bugs Bunny stuffed animal, a Winnie The Pooh stuffed animal, and a golliwog doll.
The Bugs Bunny refers to Danny, the Winnie The Pooh refers to Wendy, and the Golliwog doll refers to Halloran.
In No.40, Danny asks Wendy to get his fire engine from his room, doing so turns into No.41.
The same firetruck is seen in No.62 as Wendy grabs the baseball bat to confront Jack.
The bat is technically another toy but becomes a weapon.
Toy trucks and a toy tank are shown around Wendy, in No.29 as she cooks and in No.71 as she sleeps. Danny is shown playing with the same toy cars in No.44

Danny’s Toys
The toy trucks and tank connect Danny’s play with construction and the military. The toy-truck reflection continues in No.44 and No.72.
