Jack's anger is the elevator blood. It has very little to do with supernatural forces, but visually/semiotically, Jack's rage pointed towards Wendy is the blood from the elevator.
In this pairing (and the many examples that follow continually linking these two facets:
THE INTERVIEW: [No.6] Danny's visions are tied to his awareness of his father's employment in the hotel
TUESDAY [No.30, No.31] Showing The Elevator within this sequence shows we should associate the elevator with danger, threats (and potentially warnings), and when Jack and Wendy fight.
WEDNESDAY [No.50] Danny is shown screaming in bed, seeing blood flow from The Elevator as Jack screams in Wendy’s face.
8AM [No.64] Danny's awareness with his parents arguments reiterated. While other instances could be explained away as "Danny is aware of them because he's really close to his parents as they fight", the Co Lounge and West Wing Living Quarters are treated as separate parts of the hotel.
4PM [No.86,No.87,No.88] This sequence solidifies the elevator/Jack's anger connection. This time Jack is actively chasing Danny to murder him, while Wendy is on her "trail of realization"- an awareness journey that shows her all of the hurts within her family (and her country) that she's been unaware of or willfully ignoring. As Danny prepares his escape, Wendy comes up on the elevator-- approaching it as if she expects something to come out. As the blood spews out and she stands there shocked, the scene cuts again to show Jack coming around the corner-- while the music carries across the two scenes; solidifying that Jack's anger/rage is the blood coming out of the elevator.

Thematic reflection, the elevator blood as a metaphor for Jack’s anger, and the macro metaphor of the rage and destruction done by white men for the sake of greed and success.
