No.24: Knowing What Is Around Every Corner

Jack’s account of déjà vu in No.24 returns with the photograph. He describes falling in love with the hotel and feeling that he already knew its corners: “I fell in love with it right away. We all have moments of deja vu, but this was ridiculous. It was almost as though I knew what was around every corner”. The ending gives that earlier feeling a new connection to the hotel’s past without settling its cause.
