Fire Truck:Fire Engine

Fire truck/Fire engine

A toy most boys have been known to have and play with— it is a rescue vehicle.

It’s also shown in No.62 along with Winnie the Pooh and the baseball bat.

The Fire Engine and Safety

Danny asks to get his fire engine. It is an ordinary toy and a vehicle associated with rescue, fire, and safety. The red-and-yellow fire engine in Image 696 links with the fire warning in No.37 and the later image No.62, connecting everyday objects with danger and fatalism.
